Weekend Reading Live with Farrah Bostic

A conversation with Mike Podhorzer about <waves hands> all this.

So after getting caught in a bit of rain from walking the dog (and therefore looking a bit like a wet dog myself in this video), I joined

’s Substack Live to talk about the tyranny of cross tabs and message tests, the way brands have to be built in conversation with customers (not solely in reaction to them, or by chasing them around), and the Democrats’ passive acceptance of a narrative they didn’t create and rules they didn’t write.

Mike’s been on Cross Tabs a few times and we also talk offline (weird, right?). It’s always sprawling and exploratory and there’s always something I learn along the way. I hope you’ll enjoy it, too.

The good news is, this conversation, and a few I have planned, have me inspired to write something after a month or so of - to be frank - total writing paralysis in the face of The Pace of Events (and also being in a month-long crunch with multiple client projects).

Anyway - I hope you enjoy this conversation with the always provocative, Mike Podhorzer.

Don’t forget to subscribe to

if you haven’t already. It will challenge you, in a good way. Oh, and don’t forget to read the end notes, because that’s best part. ;)

Thank you

(hi!!), , , , and many others for tuning into my live video with !

Hopefully, I’ll come up with a plan to do more of these.
